Privacy Policy & Affiliate Disclosure

Location. With your permission, we use your device’s location to show weather-appropriate outfit recommendations. If you deny location access, the app still works with reduced weather personalization.

Anonymous device identifier. We assign an anonymous installation identifier (via Firebase Installation ID) so we can remember your style profile without an account. It is not linked to your name, email, or phone number.

Style preferences and interactions. Your quiz answers, likes and dislikes, saved boards, and settings — used to learn your taste and improve recommendations.

Usage and diagnostics. We use Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to see which features are used and to detect crashes, so we can fix problems and improve the app. This includes in-app events (for example, screens viewed and looks you like or dislike), your device model and app version, and crash reports. It is tied to the anonymous installation identifier — not to your name, email, or an advertising ID — and is never used for advertising.

What we do not collect. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, or payment information. Daily Cladd shows no third-party advertising, uses no advertising identifier (such as IDFA), and does not track you across other apps or websites.

We use the above solely to operate and improve the service — primarily to learn your taste and provide personalized, weather-aware outfit and product recommendations. We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for advertising.

We rely on a few processors to run the service, sharing only what each needs:

• Google Firebase — issues the anonymous installation identifier and provides app analytics and crash reporting (Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics).
• Amazon Web Services (AWS) — hosting and database for the service.
• Weather data provider — supplies forecasts for your area based on location.

These providers process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

Daily Cladd participates in affiliate marketing programs. Some outbound links to retailers are affiliate links; if you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a commission from the retailer at no additional cost to you. Commissions never change which items we recommend — recommendations reflect your taste only. Prices and availability are set by the retailer and may change.

When you follow an outbound link to a retailer, you leave Daily Cladd and are subject to that retailer’s own privacy policy and terms. We are not responsible for the content or practices of external sites.

Your profile is retained while you use the app. You can permanently delete it anytime from Settings › Delete my data, which erases your taste profile, likes, and boards from our servers and starts you over as a fresh anonymous user. You may also request access to or deletion of your data at any time by emailing us at help@dailycladd.com.

Daily Cladd is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has used the service, contact us and we will delete the associated data.

LifeOverflow Co., Ltd. is based in the Republic of Korea, and our service providers (including AWS and Google) may process data on servers in the United States and other countries. By using the service, you consent to this transfer.

We use administrative and technical safeguards — including encrypted transport (HTTPS) and access controls — to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep the data we hold safe.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above.
